These can replace your unsafe NSAIDs to reduce inflammation. For added pain control, these can be taken with other RX meds with less side effects, although not safe to be taken long term, like Tramadol (mild-mod pain), Gabapentin (nerve pain), Robaxin (muscle pain). Turmeric paste:
Heat water on low in pan, add Turmeric in. Stir until it has thickened up. Add pepper and coconut oil in. Remove from heat and let stand until it cools. Place into a clean glass container then refrigerate. You can store in refrigerator for up to about 2 weeks. You can add into your dog's food or into a liquidy food like kefir or cottage cheese. Start with a small amount. 1/4 teaspoon per 10 lbs is a good place to start then gradually work up if needed.
