Canine Arthramid dosing recommendations

Dose & Administration
Arthramid® is for intra-articular injection by a veterinarian. Strict aseptic technique is essential to prevent contamination of the injection site.
 
The dose injected into a joint is at the discretion of the veterinarian and may vary depending on the volume of the joint and/or the severity or duration of the disease.
 
Arthramid® is supplied in a pre-filled 1mL syringe sealed via a Leur lock fitting. Arthramid® is for intra-articular injection only by a veterinarian.

Arthramid® should be administered via a sterile 20-23g needle using aseptic injection technique protocols to prevent contamination of the injection site
 
Post-Treatment Care
Your dog’s joint comfort will gradually improve as Arthramid® takes effect.
 
The gel integrates into the joint’s synovium within 2 weeks, but visible improvement in your dog’s movement and comfort may take up to 6 weeks. Trust the process and allow time for the treatment to deliver its full benefits.
 
How to Support Your Dog’s Recovery post injection
To help your dog get the most out of their treatment, follow these simple steps:
 
Rest for 48 hours: Keep activity minimal for the first two days.
Controlled exercise: Stick to short, gentle leash walks for the next 2 to 4 weeks, slowly increasing duration as your vet advises.
Vet check-up: Schedule a re-examination with your vet 4 to 6 weeks after treatment.
Continue rehab: If your dog has a rehab plan, keep following it as recommended.
